This conversation with Sean Kelley, Senior Vice President and Director of Interpretation for the Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site is an amazing look into what’s been called one of the most important buildings in America.  In fact there are so many great stories this is a two part episode, of about 30 minutes each.

“Our conversation with the guide who had spent time in prison gave me the courage when we got home to tell my daughter what I had been hiding for years, that her uncle, my brother, was also incarcerated.”

The two parts of this episode explore a range of things from Al Capone to prison escapes to solitary confinement.
